Aspa Bruk is a manufacturer of pulp used in a number of special areas. Aspa Bruk produces bleached and unbleached long fibrous sulphate pulp. The pulp produced in Aspa is of the highest quality and is sold worldwide to a wide range of applications. Aspa has a capacity of 200,000 tonnes, has 174 employees and sales of approximately SEK 1.5 billion, with good profitability.
About the Acquirer
Sweden Timber is a Swedish-owned wood and paper manufacturer with manufacturing units in southern Sweden. The company manufactures sustainable paper products, sawn and planed wood products and granules in biocomposite, where wood fibre replaces plastic. The acquisition is fully in line with Sweden Timber's strategy to be an obvious alternative for customers' needs and broadens the existing product portfolio of wood and paper products.
